The Miia F1 hybrid is a parthenocarpic cucumber bred by specialists of the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the NAAS of Ukraine for cultivation in protected ground. Methods of hybridization, inbreeding, and individual selection were used in the process of creating the hybrid.

The plant possesses increased tolerance to the effects of environmental stress factors. Research confirms resistance to downy mildew, caused by the pathogen Pseudoperonospora cubensis.
