ActiveCucumis sativus L. · Cucumber
Monstanto Vegetable, NL
10 August 2026
The plant has medium to strong growth vigor and a mixed flowering type, where one to three female flowers are formed in each node. Fruits are green, smooth, and do not have bitterness under normal growing conditions, although bitter substances are contained in the cotyledonous leaves and pedicels.
The variety is intended for cultivation in open field and greenhouses. The plant is thermophilic and sensitive to wind. Resistance to powdery mildew is absent; in open field, susceptibility to downy mildew is observed.
Due to the mixed flowering type, it is not recommended to grow it together with parthenocarpic varieties to avoid cross-pollination. When cultivating in a greenhouse, it is recommended to pinch side shoots after the first or second ovary.
