The variety is a local landrace adapted for open field, cold frames, and greenhouses. The plant forms creeping shoots or can be grown on trellises, reaching a height of about 40 cm without support. Fruiting continues from June to October, provided that harvesting is regular.

Fruits reach 25 cm in length and 10 cm in diameter. During maturation, the color changes from bright green to yellow and brown, and the skin of mature fruits becomes netted and cracks. Fruits retain juiciness during storage and do not turn bitter even when fully ripe. The variety has high tolerance to diseases and requires regular watering to prevent the formation of bitterness.
