The plant is vigorous, forming long creeping vines up to 2 m. The fruits are rounded, slightly flattened in shape, covered with an orange rind with a gray reticulated pattern. Fruit weight usually ranges from 5–10 kg, in individual cases reaching 15–30 kg.
The flesh is dark orange, juicy, crisp, and sweet, containing high amounts of sugars, carotene, and vitamins. The fruits are well-suited for transportation and store until the end of winter. The flavor fully develops after a ripening period during storage.
The variety has a universal purpose: the flesh is used for making soups, purees, candied fruits, pickling, and salads. The fruits are also suitable for decorative purposes.
