The variety is mid-early and forms vining plants with vigorous growth. The fruits have grey or bluish-grey skin and a round or slightly flattened shape. The mass of one fruit is usually from 1 to 2.5 kg, sometimes reaching 5 kg. The yield is 4–5 fruits per plant.
The flesh of the fruits is bright orange, dense, dryish, and practically free of fiber. It has a sweet taste with chestnut notes and becomes crumbly when cooked. The skin is thin and often edible. The variety is resilient to various weather conditions and has a keeping quality of up to 6 months.
The variety is intended for culinary use in soups, baking, or stews. It belongs to the group of Japanese kabocha-type squashes and is a portion-sized vegetable suitable for both home and professional cultivation.
