The variety belongs to the Buttercup/Kabocha type group. The plant can form both vines and a bush. The growing period is from 110 to 130 days.
The oblate-round fruits reach a weight of about 2 kg and a diameter of 20 cm. The skin is dark green with specks and becomes soft upon heat treatment. The orange-colored flesh is distinguished by a fine-fibered structure and a sweet taste with a pronounced chestnut aroma.
The variety has good keeping quality, maintaining consumer qualities until December at a temperature of 10–15 °C. Harvesting before the onset of frost is recommended to avoid reducing the storage life.
