Tiana F1 is a vining plant with a mid-early maturity group. The fruits are elongated-blocky or cylindrical in shape (butternut type), reaching 18–40 cm in length with a diameter of 8–15 cm. The average fruit weight is 1.0–1.2 kg, the skin is beige in color.
The fruit flesh is firm, dark orange, characterized by a sweet nutty taste and a small seed cavity. The variety is distinguished by high marketable yield, fruit uniformity, and good keeping quality during storage.
The plant possesses intermediate resistance to Zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV), and also exhibits resistance to powdery mildew and a number of other viral diseases.
