The variety is an oilseed pumpkin, which, unlike hulless varieties, has seeds with a coat. The plant is intended for the production of commercial seeds.

The variety has a high yield, amounting to 50–55 tons of fresh fruit per hectare. The yield of dry seeds varies from 800 to 1000 kg per hectare.

Mass and individual selection methods were used in the breeding process of the variety, including those based on local populations or populations obtained by crossing.
