Sucrière du Brésil is a vining plant with long, thin stems and stiff, dark green, corrugated leaves. The fruits have an oblong shape that widens toward the middle, with five weakly defined ribs. During the ripening process, the color of the rind changes from green to orange.

The fruit flesh is yellow in color and is distinguished by a high sugar content. The variety is characterized as early or mid-early and has the ability to be stored for a long time. The fruits are consumed in cooked form, and in some regions, the leaves of the plant are also used for food.
