The variety possesses a compact and dense structure compared to the natural species. The leaves have a cylindrical or slightly flattened finger-like shape and are distinguished by a fine texture. When grown in pots, the plant height is usually 25–35 cm, although in natural conditions the species can reach 1 meter.
The plant belongs to drought-tolerant crops, does not tolerate freezing temperatures, and requires protection from cold drafts. To maintain its compact shape and characteristic coloration, the variety requires bright lighting, moderate watering, and mandatory drying of the soil between waterings. All parts of the plant are toxic if ingested.
