The variety was developed by the method of biotypic selection from the variety «Kabardinskaja». At the heading stage, leafiness of plants reaches 61%. The variety is distinguished by stable productivity and the ability for rapid regrowth.
Dry matter yield is 9–12 t/ha, seed yield is about 250 kg/ha. The variety is recommended for cultivation in pure stands and can be used as raw material for biogas production, where the optimal nutritional value of biomass is achieved at the beginning of the heading stage.
