Plants of the variety reach a height of 100–125 cm and have large grey-green leaves. The thousand kernel weight is 0.7–1.25 g.
The variety possesses resistance to cold, drought, lodging, and diseases. Average green mass yield is in the range of 85–95 t/ha. The produce is distinguished by high nutritional value and good palatability for livestock, in particular sheep.
