The Boikivchanka variety is a plant about 102 cm tall with a vegetation period from the resumption of spring growth to harvest maturity of about 127 days. It was bred by the method of multiple individual selection from the Dainava variety.
The plant possesses winter hardiness and drought tolerance, demonstrates high resistance to lodging, seed shattering, diseases, and pests. The yield of green mass is 48.8 t/ha, dry matter is 11.1 t/ha, and seeds is 0.49 t/ha.
