Variety description

Inflorescences reach a diameter of 10–20 cm and have a needle-like shape due to narrow petals rolled into a tube for more than two-thirds of their length. The variety blooms from mid-summer until the first frosts in September–October.

The plant requires the installation of supports to protect the stems from wind and needs the tubers to be dug up for the winter, as it is not winter-hardy in open ground. It is used for landscaping and cut flowers.
