The variety belongs to decorative dahlias. Bush height is from 90 to 120 cm, foliage is dark green, serrated at the edges.

Flowers are large, about 14 cm in diameter, have a deep dark red color with a velvety shade. The plant has a light fragrance.

The variety was bred for use as a cut flower crop, characterized by strong stems, resistant to lodging, and high vase life (about 7–8 days). Flowering continues from mid-summer until frosts. Propagated by division of tubers and cuttings.
