The Melody Mambo variety is a compact plant with a height of 40 to 60 cm, featuring an upright, strongly branching habit and strong stems. The inflorescences are double, velvety, dark red in color, with a diameter of 8 to 12 cm.

Flowering begins in July and continues until the first frosts. The plant exhibits resistance to adverse weather conditions, including rain and intense sun. The variety is not frost-hardy and requires digging up the tubers for the winter in regions with cold climates.
