The period from sowing to harvest is about 5 months. The root crops are white, cylindrical in shape, and reach a length of more than 20 cm. A characteristic feature is the presence of a "green collar" — the upper part of the fruit that protrudes above the soil surface and turns green in the light. The plant forms abundant foliage.

The variety is an open-pollinated population and belongs to the category of fodder crops intended for feeding farm animals, such as cattle and rabbits. Due to its specific taste qualities, it is not used as a table vegetable.
