The variety belongs to the Nantes type and is also found under the names Nantese migliorata 2 and Nantese di Chioggia 2. The plant leaves are upright, well-developed, and deeply dissected.

The roots have an almost perfect cylindrical shape with a blunt end. The flesh of the roots, including the core, is tender and colored an intense orange.

The variety is productive and possesses good adaptability to various soil and climatic conditions. It is suitable both for home gardening and for professional cultivation in the open field.
