The variety is an Italian version of the Nantaise type and is recognized in official European Union catalogues as a synonym for Nantaise améliorée 2. The plant forms deeply dissected leaves arranged vertically.

The root crops have a smooth surface and a neat petiole node. The variety is intended for universal use and is suitable for summer and autumn harvesting when grown in open field.
