Narbonne F1 carrot is a late hybrid with a growing period of about 135 days. The root crops belong to the Nantes type, have a cylindrical shape with a blunt tip, a smooth surface, and a bright orange color of flesh and core. The weight of one root crop is from 100 to 250 g.
The plant has a vigorous dark green leaf apparatus. Root crops contain 7–8% sugars and up to 18–19 mg of carotene. The hybrid is resistant to cracking and breakage, which simplifies mechanized harvesting. Complex resistance includes Alternaria blight, Cercospora leaf spot, black leg, and black rot.
Recommended sowing density is 0.8–1.5 million seeds per 1 ha. The hybrid is intended for long-term storage, fresh market sales, and industrial processing, including freezing and juice production.
