Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is a representative of the hybrid Delosperma series. The variety forms low, dense carpet mats 10–15 cm in height. The foliage is fleshy, lanceolate, and blue-green in color.

The flowers are large, approximately 5 cm in diameter, and daisy-shaped. The petals are ruby-red with a white center and a golden halo. Flowering begins in late spring and continues until the first frosts; flowers open only in sunlight.

The variety is characterized by high drought tolerance and heat-loving nature. Winter hardiness allows it to withstand temperatures down to -15...-20 °C provided high-quality soil drainage is ensured. Used as a groundcover plant for alpine slides, rock gardens, borders, and containers.
