The variety is a hybrid obtained by crossing parent forms Dendrobium Hanafubuki and Dendrobium Everest. The plant is characterized by a large flower size and specific coloration, in which the soft reddish-purple hue of the petal edges gradually lightens towards the center.

This variety was developed specifically for use as a gift plant in large pots. It has become widespread among Japanese Dendrobium producers.
