The variety belongs to the Dendrobium nobile hybrid group. The plant forms thick, strong upright pseudobulbs ranging from 25 to 70 cm in height. The tetraploid nature of the variety provides increased resistance compared to wild species.

The flowers are large, fragrant, and of a deep red-violet color with a distinct yellow eye in the throat of the lip. The variety is characterized by profuse flowering, where more than 30 flowers with a long lifespan can form on a single stem.

Flowering typically occurs from November to April. To initiate flowering, the plant requires an essential dormant period, accompanied by lower temperatures and reduced watering during the autumn-winter period.
