The variety was obtained through the selection of an ecotype collected in pastures and is characterized by the formation of a dense, thick turf. The plant's leaves possess high rigidity due to an increased silicon content, which requires the use of sharp blades for mowing. In the spring, the variety is distinguished by early resumption of vegetation.

The plant possesses good winter hardiness and resistance to diseases such as Fusarium, red thread, and rust. Due to its ability to tolerate intense loads and shading, the variety is used at sports facilities, in parks and landscape design, as well as in specialized grass mixtures for airfields.
