The International Dianthus Register contains records of several historical forms with this name. Among them are mentioned variants with pale pink flowers, dark crimson varieties with a strong fragrance, as well as breeding specimens from the beginning of the 20th century.
In modern agronomic trials, this variety was considered when studying vegetative and ornamental characteristics. Development vigor and bush branching were noted; however, detailed data on biological traits and disease resistance are absent.
