The variety is a herbaceous perennial that forms neat spreading bushes about 10–15 cm in height. The plant forms single crimson flowers possessing a pronounced spicy fragrance.

The plant is characterized by high hardiness, frost resistance down to zone 3, and resistance to temperature fluctuations. It responds well to pruning, which stimulates shoot growth and flowering. For open field cultivation, it requires adequate soil drainage.
