The plant is a low-growing perennial 15–20 cm in height, forming compact basal clumps. The leaves are narrow, linear, have a glaucous-green or silvery-blue color and retain their decorative appearance throughout the year.

The flowers are solitary, bright pink with a fringed edge, reaching 4 cm in diameter, and have a distinct spicy fragrance. The flowering period lasts from late spring to late summer; if faded buds are removed, a second wave is possible in autumn.

The variety is resistant to drought and heat, preferring well-drained neutral or alkaline soils. The plant is sensitive to waterlogging, especially during the winter period. Suitable for borders, rock gardens, rockeries, and container cultivation.
