The Novada variety is characterized by high resistance to Fusarium wilt, which is due to the presence of specific fungitoxic compounds, such as flavonoids, in its tissues. Despite this resistance, cases of plant infection have been recorded under certain field conditions.
In scientific literature, the variety is used primarily as an object for studying shoot regeneration, carnation transformation, and as a source of disease resistance genes. Agronomic descriptions of the plant's morphological traits, such as height, maturity group, or flower characteristics, are absent from publications.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
