The variety «Odino» (sometimes referred to as «Golden Odino») is a Dianthus caryophyllus that is actively used in scientific research on post-harvest flower preservation. The plant belongs to tetraploid varieties.
During agronomic experiments, quality parameters of cut flowers were studied, such as flower size, color intensity, and vase life. It was determined that the use of solutions with the addition of sucrose contributes to better bud opening, an increase in their size, and higher color saturation.
