Variety description

The plant forms compact bushes with linear glaucous-green or grey-blue evergreen foliage. Plant height is 6–15 cm. The flowers are simple, bright red in hue with a characteristic dark red eye in the center, and possess a pleasant fragrance.

The variety is early-flowering; flowering begins in May-June and continues until the end of summer or the beginning of autumn. The plant is frost-resistant and drought-tolerant, preferring well-drained soils and a sunny location. Suitable for alpine gardens, borders, container cultivation, and cutting.
