The variety belongs to the perpetual carnation group. The flower is fully double, consisting of 43 purple petals with serrated edges; there is no fragrance. The plant has glaucous leaves measuring 53.9 by 6.6 mm; stem height in protected cultivation reaches 1 meter.

Flowering is of the spray type; the number of stamens is about 16 with yellowish-white anthers. The variety is intended for professional floriculture. There is a Cerise West Pearl variety with pink coloring and a white border, used in genetic research.
