The Strawberry Sundae variety of Diascia is a compact perennial, which in temperate climates is often grown as an annual. The plant forms a neat bush about 30 cm in height and up to 50 cm in width with dense green foliage and elegant hanging or trailing shoots.

The flowers of the variety have a strawberry-pink shade and cover the bush in large numbers over a long period. The variety has good heat tolerance, prefers sunny locations or light partial shade, as well as moderately moist and well-drained soil.

The plant is intended for container gardening, use in hanging baskets, border landscaping, and the foreground of flower beds.
