Variety description

The variety is a compact, bushy, semi-upright shrub with a height of 80–100 cm and a width of about 100 cm. The plant does not produce root suckers. The main decorative feature is the bright yellow foliage, while young shoots acquire a red tint in the sun.
The flowers are small, tubular, golden-yellow in color, and gathered in inflorescences. The flowering period occurs in July-August. The plant is undemanding to soils, develops well in both sun and partial shade, and possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -35 °C.
The shrub is used in landscape design for creating borders, mass plantings, or as a solitary plant in containers and open ground. It is a honey plant that attracts pollinating insects.
