Variety description

The shrub produces suckers and reaches a height of 80–150 cm with a similar or slightly greater width. The shoots are quite rigid, upright or slightly drooping, which allows the plant to be used for slope stabilization.
The lanceolate leaves have a dark burgundy or red-purple hue when they emerge in spring, which persists throughout the season, and turn intense red, purple, and orange tones in autumn. The tubular sulfur-yellow or bright yellow flowers are gathered in terminal inflorescences and bloom in June–July.
The variety withstands frosts down to -23...-26°C (zone 4) and adapts well to various soil types and light conditions from full sun to partial shade. Once established, the plant exhibits high drought tolerance and resistance to diseases and pests.
