The variety is a second-generation hybrid obtained through interspecific crossing of Diospyros kaki and Diospyros virginiana based on seedlings of the 'Rossiyanka' variety. The tree is medium-sized, 3.8–6 meters in height, with a rounded-pyramidal crown. The variety forms only female flowers and is prone to parthenocarpy.

Fruit ripening occurs in early to mid-November. The fruits are round-flat in shape; upon full maturity, they acquire a burgundy color and a jam-like pulp consistency. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and pests; frost resistance is up to -23...-25°C.
