The variety is a natural mutation of the Diospyros kaki variety Rojo Brillante. The fruits possess high marketability, their average weight is about 300 g, and they can exceed the size of the parent variety's fruits by 35%.
In terms of maturity, the variety is classified as early, with harvesting beginning in early September. The fruits are astringent at the time of harvest and require special treatment or post-harvest ripening to remove astringency.
The plant is intended for commercial horticulture in Mediterranean climate conditions. The yield of the variety can reach 50 tons per hectare at a planting density of 600 trees per hectare.
