The variety is a hybrid of Diospyros virginiana and Diospyros kaki. The tree is medium-sized, reaching 3–5 meters in height, with a spreading, compact crown and high frost resistance, withstanding temperature drops down to -27°C.

Fruit ripening time is late — November. Fruits are round or flattened in shape, weighing 50–100 g, and have a bright orange color with a waxy bloom. The flesh is sweet with a honey flavor, practically lacks astringency, and fruits often have no seeds.

The variety is intended for cultivation in regions with a temperate climate where standard Diospyros kaki varieties are unable to bear fruit due to low winter hardiness.
