Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a hybrid obtained by crossing the Kurokuma and Taishu varieties. The trees are noted for high growth vigor and productivity. Fruits mature late, in late November, and have an average weight of about 506 g.

The fruit flesh is soft, moderately coarse, and very juicy. The skin surface often has small concentric cracks, while fruit cracking at the calyx or apex is rare. Due to its classification as an astringent variety, the fruits require special treatment or post-harvest ripening before consumption.
