Variety description

The fruits of the variety ripen in late October, approximately two weeks earlier than the Matsumotowase Fuyu variety. The variety belongs to the PCNA group, which means the fruits are non-astringent regardless of the presence of seeds and pollination.

When grafted onto certain intermediate rootstocks, the variety may exhibit poor compatibility, leading to stunted growth. Studies have revealed the presence of specific viruses in plants of this variety, such as Persimmon ampelovirus, Persimmon polerovirus, and Persimmon waikavirus.
