The Indián variety is the result of breeding work aimed at improving the quality of plant raw materials. The plant is characterized by a high content of biologically active substances, which include polysaccharides, flavonoids, alkylamides, glycoproteins, as well as derivatives of caffeic and chicoric acids.

Existing publications do not provide specific quantitative morphological characteristics of the variety, including height or disease resistance indices. It should be noted that the name Indián in a number of sources also refers to another species — Echinacea pallida, therefore, when using planting material, it is necessary to verify the species identification.
