Variety description

Perennial upright plant 60–80 cm in height. Distinguished by thin, nearly black stems that create a contrast with bright flowers, and dark green, rough, lanceolate leaves.
Inflorescences are bright purple-pink with a red-brown central part; the petals have a tendency to droop. The plant is characterized as winter-hardy, requires a sunny location and moderately moist humus-rich soils.
Flowering occurs from July to September. The crop is used in landscape design for mixed borders and group plantings, attracts pollinating insects, and is suitable for cut flowers.
