Variety description

The plant forms a sturdy upright bush 60 to 90 cm in height. Characteristic features are strong dark wine or burgundy-black stems that do not lodge. Leaves are dark green, narrow-oval, with serrated edges.
Large flowers reach a diameter of 12–13 cm and have saturated pink-purple petals and an orange-bronze central cone. Flowering continues from July to September-October; with the removal of faded inflorescences, a repeat wave is possible until frost.
The variety possesses high frost resistance, withstanding temperature drops down to -30°C (USDA zones 4–9), and is resistant to heat, drought, and high humidity. Like other species of Echinacea, it may be affected by leaf spots, powdery mildew, or aster yellows.
