The Ballerina series represents a group of hybrids of the genus Epidendrum, belonging to the category of reed-stem orchids. These plants are distinguished by long, erect stems and flowers gathered in dense inflorescences.

The Yellow variant is characterized by yellow petal coloration. Plants of this group are capable of prolonged flowering, however, specific characteristics, such as precise height parameters or disease resistance for a particular sub-variety, are not established in literature and are often descriptive and commercial in nature.
