Variety description

The variety is a compact, dense, and spreading shrub reaching a height of 20 to 100 cm. The foliage is evergreen; in summer it has a bright golden color, which changes to lime-green or yellow-green during the winter period or in the shade.
Flowering occurs from July to September, sometimes extending into October; the flowers are small, tubular, and colored red or dark pink. The plant tolerates full sun well, requires well-drained soils, and does not tolerate water stagnation. The winter hardiness of the variety corresponds to USDA zone 8, with a temperature tolerance of -10 to -18°C.
