Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Eucomis comosa. Plant height varies from 45 to 120 cm. Basal leaves have a deep purple hue upon emergence, gradually acquiring a forest-green color while retaining a purple tint in the sun.
The flower stalk is robust and dark purple. The raceme inflorescence consists of cream-white star-shaped flowers with purple centers and pink-burgundy buds. After flowering, decorative seed pods are formed.
The variety is resistant to Verticillium wilt and is characterized by an upright growth habit. Flowering occurs from mid-summer to early autumn. USDA hardiness zones 7a–11; in regions with cold climates, annual lifting of bulbs is recommended.
