The leaves of the variety have a spatulate shape with a pointed tip and entire margins, their length is 5–7.5 cm with a dark green color. The kidney-shaped bracts are of a solid pink-red color and reach 1.5–2 cm in diameter.
The plant has a tendency for intensive growth and forms a tree-like structure. Unlike a number of other varieties, Hapa leaves do not fall off for a long time, and the peduncles are characterized by a long flowering period and abundance.
