The plant is a shrub with thick fleshy stems and sharp thorns. The leaves have an elongated shape, their length varies from 7.5 to 10 cm, the base color is deep dark green. The flowers, which are bracts, have a pink color with a dark blue-pink shade and are gathered in inflorescences.
The variety is an ornamental and drought-tolerant plant. It requires well-drained soil and can grow both in sun and in conditions of partial shading. Used for landscaping gardens, balconies and interior spaces.
