The plant has an upright and uniformly rounded bush shape with a vigorous growth type and good free-branching ability. Leaf blades are dark green in color, have a textured surface and slightly curved edges.

Inflorescences are formed in the shape of a sphere. Dark red bracts are similar in texture and shape to the plant's leaves. The variety is intended for use as an ornamental houseplant.
