The plant has a low height and is characterized by an absence of branching. The leaves are green, with a reddish hue on the surface of the main vein. The petioles are short, with pronounced anthocyanin coloration on both the adaxial and abaxial sides.
The bracts are oval in shape, with a non-curled surface. The primary color of the bracts corresponds to code N45A on the RHS color chart, and 46B on the abaxial side. The cyathia are medium-sized and yellow. The flowering time is evaluated as quite early.
