The variety belongs to the subspecies Festuca rubra ssp. rubra. The presence of rhizomes promotes effective spreading of the plant and the formation of a durable turf layer, which is in demand for the production of sod rolls.

The plant possesses resistance to trampling, due to which the variety finds application on sports grounds and other areas with high intensity of use.
